Residential Re-Clad

T&T Facades is pleased to announce its latest cladding remediation project, working for Main Contractor client Durkan.

This 7-storey, mixed-use residential development in Stoke Newington Road, Dalston is one of the buildings identified as having unsafe cladding materials following the Government’s fire safety compliance changes.

T&T’s scope of works includes the removal of the existing zinc façade and all combustible materials, and installation of a new, non-combustible zinc standing seam cladding system and associated cavity barriers and insulation.

Commenting, T&T Facades’ MD, Tom Rutter said “It’s great to be working with Durkan on this project. As with all projects of this type it’s going to have its challenges being a tight footprint and residents in situ throughout the programme, but something we now have considerable experience with. It’s a good looking building with some complex zinc detailing which the team is looking forward to getting its teeth into”.

The remediation team started on site in May 2024 and is looking to expedite the works as quickly as possible for the residents and our client.
